LAUSD SERVICE LEARNING PROJECT
|
- LAUSD has added a service learning requirement in order to graduate. The service learning project is completed during the junior year in US History classes throughout the district. We will complete this project towards the end of the spring semester.
- The Project will require that you research a current political topic and compose an essay where you recommend an action that our government should take to address the topic and provide evidence to back up your recommendation. The essays are sent to the appropriate government officials responsible for addressing the specific topic. In the past, we have researched immigration reform and sent our recommendations to our US Senators.
